I went to Christopher Newport University in the 90’s with a concentration in writing and theater. In my junior year the school fired my theater professor and I was so moved I wrote about it for my first ever journalism article for my school newspaper The Captain’s Log.
After that first article I decided I might be a journalist so I decided to interview the groundskeeping staff.
